Kiefer Ravena on Being Jordan Brand’s First Filipino Athlete: ‘I Always Had a Dream’ “There’s only two things that will stop the whole country from doing anything: it’s either a Manny Pacquiao fight or the Gilas game that just finished,” Ravena says proudly. “Everybody was tuned in and you can see on social media how everyone was reacting to beating Korea by a winning shot. There’s no pro players on the team, and it was amazing to see these young guys pull it off.” Ravena, who last played for Gilas in 2019, knows the pressure of representing an entire country in that country’s most popular sport. And now, he’s representing the Philippines on a new team with an even wider global audience, as the brand’s first Filipino athlete: Team Jordan.

Inside Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen’s nasty split: They’re ready for a fight Things are getting “nasty” between Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen amid their marriage split, sources say. Page Six exclusively revealed Bündchen has hired the top divorce lawyer in Florida to take on Brady as the pair seem to be heading to the end zone. Insiders say Bündchen hired Tom Sasser, the managing partner of the law firm of Sasser, Cestero & Roy. The West Palm Beach divorce attorney has handled a stable of high-profile clients including Tiger Woods in his divorce with Elin Nordegren. Sasser also represented Jeff Gordon in his bitter 2003 divorce from wife Brooke which turned into a battle over the NASCAR driver’s net worth, but was ultimately settled. A source said, “Things are very nasty between Tom and Gisele because of the lawyers. They are ready for a fight.”As we revealed, the Brady and Bündchen have been living separately for the past couple months following an epic fight and are now looking at dividing up their multimillion-dollar empire. “I don’t think there will be any coming back now. They both have lawyers and are looking at what a split will entail, who gets what and what the finances will be,” said a source.

Was BLACKPINK's Lisa drunk at Avrora Awards? K-pop star winks in response。 If BTS is the most popular boyband from South Korea, BLACKPINK is the name that first comes to mind when we talk about Korean girls supergroup. The band comprising of Lisa, Jennie, Jisoo and Rosé are not only known for their star performances and songs but also for their fashionable outings and chic outfits. Recently, when Lisa stepped out to attend BVLGARI's Avrora Awards, the K-pop star turned heads. Lisa looked stunning in her white gown with exquisite jewels. As usual, when she stepped out, paparazzi clicked her endlessly and posed multiple questions to her. As a Blink (fan of the band) evaded the crowd and ran to the Korean star, he asked if she was drunk. Being the bundle of joy that Lisa is, she calmly turned around and winked. Her reaction has won the Internet and the video has gone viral on social media. Meanwhile, Lisa and her band members are currently basking in the success of their recently released album, Born Pink. Mega K-pop girls supergroup BLACKPINK made history as it has landed its first No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart with its second full-length studio album 'Born Pink'. The group's latest effort debuts atop the list with 102,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. in the week ending September 22, according to Luminate, reports aceshowbiz.com.

TED LASSO SHATTERED. The nanny — who worked with them for more than three years — further alleged that Sudeikis swiftly banned staffers from listening to any of Styles’ music in his house after the revelation. The nanny claimed that Sudeikis was completely blindsided when Wilde, 38, broke things off — despite the actress and director’s constant refrain that their separation was amicable. Despite saying that Sudeikis fired her, the nanny added, “I do have sympathy for Jason because I lived with him and saw him every day and we had a lot of good times. But the bad times were really bad. “I feel for Jason because he really wanted to make things work, he tried. He left everything to go to therapy and to try harder to do better and it didn’t work out.”

ENHYPEN Concert Review: The 7 Member K-Pop Group Stuns & Shakes Up Radio City Music Hall As ENHYPEN took the stage, the red walls of the iconic Radio City Music Hall were pulsing with amazing and unmatched energy. Fans were waiting with explosive anticipation to see the seven-member group on the sold-out last stop of the North American leg of their World Tour ‘MANIFESTO’. The tour was the first for the band— having debuted in November 2020 and running through months of fan meets and festivals that took place in Los Angeles, Frankfurt, and Seoul. It’s absolutely certain that at every moment during their tour, they gave their all to surely prove that they are one of the dominating acts of K-Pop. ENHYPEN consists of Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo and NI-KI. They’re the first boyband to come out of BELIFT LAB, a joint venture between HYBE (which is also home to BTS, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, Seventeen and Le Sserafim) and CJ ENM. The group formed on the survival show I-LAND where the individual trainees competed for a spot to debut in the new group. Their endearing name derives from the en-dash and the hyphen which brings different words and meanings together and the members vow to “connect, discover each other, and grow together.” Since their debut, they have indeed grown to new heights by being the youngest K-Pop group to enter the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 Charts.

BTS’s “Butter” Becomes 2nd Song By K-Pop Artist To Join Spotify’s Billions Club BTS has just hit the 1 billion mark for the second time on Spotify! Last year, BTS became the first Korean artist ever to join Spotify’s Billions Club when their 2020 hit “Dynamite” surpassed 1 billion streams on the platform, making it the first song by any K-pop artist to reach the milestone. On October 13 local time, Spotify officially welcomed another song by BTS into its Billions Club: the group’s hit 2021 single “Butter,” which is now the second song by a Korean artist to surpass 1 billion streams on Spotify. BTS first released “Butter” on May 21, 2021, meaning that it took the group less than a year and five months to hit 1 billion streams. Congratulations to BTS!

Much has changed since then, as Tom Brady and the Bucs have their eyes fixed on another potential Super Bowl run, while the Steelers are headed toward a top-five draft pick for the first time since they took Terry Bradshaw No. 1 overall in 1970. Both teams are dealing with key injuries on both sides of the ball, and while Tampa Bay is trying to keep their spot atop the NFC South, Pittsburgh is hoping to keep their fans from checking more mock drafts next week. Who wins this game?? The Buccs fo sho!

'KPOP' the musical debuts on Broadway Bet you didn't know that a K-Pop musical debuted on Broadway—we're just as surprised as you are! The cast features both theater actors and K-Pop idols including Luna, the founding member of the girl group (f)x. "KPOP" debuted off-Broadway in 2017. K-pop singers declare war on internet trolls Several K-pop stars have declared war on internet trolls. Chinese Canadian K-pop singer Henry Lau's agency Monster Entertainment said Thursday that it will take strong legal action against anyone who distorts the truth, spreads malicious rumors and defames its artist. "We tried not to respond to all these distortions, rumors and attacks, but now we feel that we should not turn a blind eye to these acts," the company said in a statement. "Some of them even commented they would stab Lau's mother and younger sister, which made him feel so miserable. So from now on, we will take strict legal measures without being lenient." Lau, who debuted as part of K-pop act Super Junior M in 2008 prior to his solo debut in 2013, has been attacked by some internet users for allegedly showing his support for the "One China" policy. This policy claims that there is only one China represented by the government in Beijing and that Taiwan and Hong Kong are parts of it. On the same day, HYBE, the record label behind K-pop juggernaut BTS, said it caught a person who had been spreading malicious rumors about BTS. "A suspect was specified after a police investigation and this case was recently sent to the prosecution," the company said on fan platform Weverse. "We want to emphasize that there will be no settlements or clemency for any suspects." A few days before HYBE's announcement, another K-pop powerhouse SM Entertainment warned of legal action to protect its singer BoA, who has been appearing as a judge on Mnet's dance competition program "Street Man Fighter." Numerous viewers left hateful comments on her Instagram account after BoA ruled in favor of dance crew Bank Two Brothers (BIIB) on the fifth episode of "Street Man Fighter" that aired on Sept. 20. They insist she made a "biased and unfair" judgment that eliminated PrimeKingz, one of the heavy favorites. "The judges do not decide who will compete against whom," BoA wrote on an Instagram Story. "I wonder if you guys would be less (angry) if BIIB had been eliminated. It is exhausting to think that this kind of thing will repeat (until the program ends)." SM said it will take a hard line against online trolls. "What they have been doing is an illegal act and we will not tolerate to protect our artist," the company said. "We are preparing to lodge a complaint and there will be no leniency." Over the past few years, K-pop stars and their agencies have been taking a tougher stance against internet trolls. But a lot of people point out that the punishment is still too weak as they are often slapped with fines of about 2 million won ($1,700).
